Yea, Yea, Yea

One of my biggest inspirations when sketching is music. If music be the food of love play on - truly. I thrive on the stuff. My favorite being Beatles beats. There's something just...happy....about it.

So, yes. I found this tee at a thrift store a while back, then found it in my drawer the other day and commenced wearing. 'Twas a very bleak, cold, grey and just plain dreary kind of day with melting snow and little sun I watched out my window watching all the lonely people, put on some LPs, and added my Buddy Holly glasses.
Leave comments, do, no your thoughts on my dreary-day inspired get up.

Inspiration behind the inspiration (I don't own these images, just using them!)

First Feature!

Yes, I am alive. I had my wisdom teeth out plus have been very busy withs school, so haven't had time for blogging (I know, I know - note to self: MAKE TIME).

Anyways,  I am back with a bang announcing my first feature!

I've been featured on I Dress Therefore I Am's Fashion Friday blog!

See my feature here. Though it's only a photo, 'tis still a start.

Special (and so much) thanks to Alexa Rae at I Dress, Therefore I Am.

Soon I shall be posting more outfit photos and some costuming news.

All Yours,

"What If You Catch Pneumonia And Die?"

"It's up to your knees out there...Baby, it's cold outside!" Please, take that phrase literally, 'cause that's what it's like outside. Thus, I've decided to stay inside so The Donner Party Two does not ensue, with a warm cup of tea, red lipstick, and the outfit I wore when I had ventured out earlier, braving the cold, risking life and limb (Well it wasn't so bad this morning, but, I digress!) in a skirt.

I shouldn't be allowed to get bored, but, oh! How I love it!

Wearing Mossimo Tissue Tee black turtleneck, Cherokee Polka Dot Tulle Trim Skirt in grey*, black knit tights, mock-locket silver and rhinestone long necklace (not sure where it's from), Burt's Bee's red lipstick

* (Yes, I'm well aware that that's from the kids' clothing at Target, but, as the expression goes if the shoe fits...)

1. $10 Target, 2. $10 Target (Girls' department), 3. My basement, 4. A gift, 5.  Burt's Bees Wings Of Love All Natural Lipstick, discontinued

An Untitled Post; Oxymoron

Won't you please, please help me? (Help me! Help me! Oooh.) Imagine The Beatles saying this, of course...

An Accidental Post (Now on Purpose)

I had posted this solely to sync up my account with Bloglovin. But, hey, if it works, I'll roll with it.

Pretty Fab

This girl is pretty fab: Lauren Winter on LookBook
Her vintage outfits make me dreadfully jealous.
I have this bookmarked, and I think you should as well.

This is a short post.
I'm just typing to fill space at this point.
You should've stopped reading and gone to the link at this point.
Seriously.
Go.

Yes, Yes

I am indeed soliciting to my adoring, demanding public:
I heard something which made me quite excited, hopeful, and happy all in the same breath: A photo contest for my eyes! La!
No, not just to look at photos with them, but enter a photo of my eyes.
I'm always scouring the web, newspaper (yes, I'm old fashioned), and magazines for something––anything––to help fund a way to something, e.g., COLLEGE!!!, I'll want to do or some place, e.g, COLLEFE!!!, I'll want to go.
So, here is a link for one and all to feed into my vanity (kidding) on Brickfish for my entry of my loverly green eyes. There's no sign up necessary, just vote. You can vote once a day, everyday. I at least need to get into the top 100, so vote it up, post it around and. Get. This. Viral!
